Name-Based Case Searches
A name search helps when no case number is at hand. Randolph County offers no single free box that spans every court. Begin with the Georgia Courts E-Access page for Superior Court records. That page routes Randolph Superior to PeachCourt. The platform presents email and password fields, registration, and civil and criminal e-filing access. The public landing page itself posts no anonymous Randolph search fields. So expect an account gate before any results appear.
- Identify the court from a notice, citation, pleading, or known case type.
- For Superior Court, follow the Randolph link from E-Access and create or use the provider account if required.
- Enter the most exact party name available and narrow by court, location, category, type, or status when the chosen system offers those controls.
- Compare the case number, style, filing date, and court before opening a result.
- Save the case number, then confirm any setting or document need with the custodian.
A match on a common name is not proof you found the right case. Check that the party roles and the court location agree with what you already know before trusting a Randolph County court docket entry as yours.

Randolph County Docket Search Provider Chain
The official chain matters because filing software and public access are not the same thing. Georgia E-Access sends Randolph Superior users to PeachCourt. The state's e-file provider list makes PeachCourt mandatory for the Pataula circuit. PeachCourt is an e-filing and document platform behind an account gate. So treat it carefully. It is not a free, anonymous register for every Randolph County court record. The re:SearchGA public-search entry point is where that separate access path begins.

re:SearchGA is a Tyler public-search layer for the whole state. Its tools include Cases, Filings, Text, and Hearings. Still, Randolph's official E-Access row sends Superior Court users to PeachCourt, so confirm coverage before treating re:SearchGA as the authority on a Randolph County docket.
Case Number Searches
A case number is the court's own identifier. It usually separates people with similar names. Type the number exactly as printed, keeping the punctuation and any leading zeroes. If nothing comes back, try only the format changes the live portal permits. No fixed Randolph County number pattern is published. Inventing a year, court code, or sequence format would only mislead you. Use the real value as your sample, such as [number from your notice]. Keep in mind that a number can still land at the wrong provider. That happens when the case belongs to Probate, Magistrate, Juvenile, or a city court rather than Superior Court. The court that issued the number is always the first check in any case lookup.
Best search key: Use the exact case number before a broad name search, then match the court and case style.
Randolph County Search Controls Explained
The re:SearchGA quick guide documents wildcard searches, Hints, Advanced, Clear, sorting, export, saved-search, folder, and alert controls. An asterisk can assist party, attorney, or judge searches. Advanced search adds criteria, and filters narrow by location, category, type, and status. Exact options vary with the court and your role.
- Hints
- Search-construction help provided by the portal.
- Advanced
- A panel for choosing a search basis and adding criteria.
- Case Details
- The result link that opens the available case-level view.
- Hearing dialog
- The detail shown after selecting a hearing type.
- Saved search or alert
- An account feature used to retain a query or follow a case.
Never confuse an account feature with broader access rights. Signing in may unlock alerts while a restricted image stays out of public view.
Case Search Results Explained
A Randolph County result can give an index-level view even where the PDF is missing. Write down every field shown and leave no gaps filled by assumption.
| Case Number | The court identifier and strongest search key. |
|---|---|
| Case Style | The caption or short description of the parties. |
| Filed Date | The date the case or filing was received or entered. |
| Category and Type | The broad and narrow classifications displayed by the provider. |
| Status | The provider's current label, which may include active or disposed. |
| Parties and Attorneys | Public roles and attorneys linked to the record. |
| Hearings | Available event date, time, judicial officer, and type. |
| Filings and Documents | Index entries and any images the user's role may access. |
| Restriction Label | A notice that some index or image access is limited. |
The vendor role matrix separates index access from image access. A visible filing row does not guarantee a free document. Ask the clerk about inspection or copy options instead.
Randolph County Search Result Layers
A result row, the case-detail view, and a hearing dialog each answer a different question. The row helps you spot a candidate. Case Details may show the event history, parties, and filings. A hearing dialog adds event facts. None of these layers is a certified copy of anything. The Pataula public calendar adds a fourth layer for likely Superior settings. It offers date and text search, event notes, overlays, tags, print, and export. When a found case demands your appearance, follow the Randolph County court schedule process. A later reset or change can rewrite the meaning of a prior calendar entry. Save the date you inspected. Verify anything time-sensitive.
Two Ways to Search: County and State
Randolph County has a provider route for Superior matters, not a universal local portal. Statewide tools may cover participating courts, but the clerk who holds a known case stays the authority.
| Route | Coverage | Best Use | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Georgia E-Access to PeachCourt | Official Randolph Superior route | Superior case and document access | Account and document controls apply |
| re:SearchGA | Participating court data | Cases, filings, text, and hearings where covered | Not confirmed as Randolph's official Superior route |
| Pataula calendar | Circuit scheduling | Finding a likely Superior event | Not a case-specific register |
| Local clerk | Records held by that court | Older, missing, restricted, or certified material | Request process and fees must be confirmed |
For Cuthbert or Shellman tickets, contact the named municipal court. Probate or Magistrate matters go to that clerk. No Randolph State Court portal is documented here, so do not route every misdemeanor to a court with no record of it.
Randolph County Search Has No Single Box
The split clerk structure explains why no countywide search exists. Kay Arnold-Goss keeps the Superior and Juvenile clerk records. Probate and Magistrate each maintain separate registers. The Cuthbert and Shellman municipal clerks hold city traffic and ordinance matters. One surname search cannot promise to cover all of them. When the court is unclear, read the notice for venue and case type. Felonies and broad civil matters point to Superior Court. Estates and guardianships point to Probate. Warrants, preliminary proceedings, and civil claims within Magistrate jurisdiction point to Magistrate. A city citation points to the municipal court that issued it. This court-first habit prevents false negatives. A record missing from PeachCourt may simply live in another office, so treat absence from one provider as a routing clue rather than proof the file does not exist.
Which Cases Stay Restricted
Not every gap in a court docket means the same thing. One case may be missing from a portal while its index shows. Another case may appear with its image held back. And some Randolph County cases are restricted outright. Sealed is a separate matter from all three.
Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 sets out how access gets limited. Rule 21.6 covers protected identifiers. Juvenile records stay confidential. They move only through authorized channels, such as controlled JDEX access for eligible attorneys. Judges and justices have their own protection route. The Judicial Security page describes how eligible personal information is restricted under O.C.G.A. ยง 15-5-112.
Hold onto the case number and the exact entry date. Then ask the clerk which portion of the court record is public. Ask whether a redacted copy exists. Ask whether an order or authorized status is needed. Never work around a restriction by trying another portal.
Randolph County Clerk Search Fallback
When a Randolph County docket search online goes nowhere, the clerk still has you covered. Superior Court sits at 93 Front Street in Cuthbert. The phone rings at 229-732-2216. Fax is 229-732-5881, mail goes to P.O. Box 98, and kay.arnold@gsccca.org takes electronic questions. Several offices share recordkeeping here, so a phone call often beats a form. The GSCCCA directory lists the office and its weekday hours.

P.O. Box 98
Cuthbert, GA 39840

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Put your request in writing. Spell out the details: the court, the case number, the parties, and the exact docket entry or document you need copies of. Say what copy type you want and how you'd like it delivered. Ask the clerk about fees before you mail any money. If the case is old and archived, ask for the paper-file process. Don't assume it was never filed.
The Georgia Open Records Act lets you ask for qualifying public agency records orally or in writing. It backs written requests for Randolph County court docket materials. Two limits still apply, though. Sealing, redaction, and confidentiality rules specific to courts can keep parts of a file back. And the law's three-business-day response rule is only a deadline for an answer. It's not a promise that a complex old file will land in your hands that fast.
