City traffic cases stay with the issuing city; everything else in Randolph County, Georgia follows one of several public channels. Superior, Probate, Magistrate, Juvenile, and municipal matters have different paths, and the court that holds the case comes first. An account provider, a circuit calendar, or the responsible clerk in Cuthbert holds the docket. Search by number when possible. Then confirm a court date or request a certified filing from the keeper of the original record, and a Randolph County court docket search finishes with the file.

Randolph Superior Dockets Use PeachCourt

Georgia's E-Access and e-filing lists both name PeachCourt as the provider for Randolph Superior Court. The landing page greets you with Email and Password fields. It adds registration and login controls. It advertises civil and criminal e-filing and court documents. What it does not offer is an anonymous Randolph party-name search on that landing screen.

The PeachCourt landing page shows the sign-in screen and its e-filing options.

Expect a possible account or document charge. Remember that e-filing is just the submission layer; the docket remains the court's event record. A filed paper is not automatically a free public image, and PeachCourt does not replace the Probate, Magistrate, Juvenile, Cuthbert, or Shellman custodians.

Court Dockets: What They Show

Think of a Randolph County court docket as the chronological register of a case. It may list filing dates, parties and their roles, counsel, events, hearings, and the disposition. The full court file can go much further, holding pleadings, service papers, orders, judgments, exhibits, or transcripts the public index never exposes.

Case NumberThe court identifier; no universal Randolph format was verified.
PartiesNames and roles such as plaintiff, defendant, petitioner, or respondent.
FilingsDated entries for pleadings, motions, orders, and service.
SettingsDate, time, type, judge, or courtroom when shown.
StatusOpen, pending, closed, disposed, or restricted.
DispositionThe recorded outcome, best read with the signed order.

A docket entry and a document image are different products. Save the case number and filing date, then request the exact paper from the office that keeps it.

Five Randolph Courts, Two City Dockets

Custody defines Randolph County's docket map. The Superior Clerk holds Superior records plus clerk-side Juvenile records. Probate and Magistrate courts keep their own registers. Cuthbert and Shellman clerks keep the city traffic and ordinance dockets. Georgia folds none of this into a single county search.

A municipal ticket will not appear as a Randolph Superior case just because its city lies inside the county. An estate is not a Superior civil case. A Magistrate preliminary matter may connect to a later Superior prosecution, but each clerk keeps only the record created in that court.

Custody test: Ask which court heard the event. Contact that court's clerk, not merely the nearest office or broadest provider.

Randolph County Courts and Their Dockets

Georgia runs six trial-level court classes. Randolph's local structure includes Superior, Juvenile, Probate, Magistrate, and municipal courts. Randolph County lists no State Court, so route no case to a county State Court that does not exist there.

Appeals generally head to the Georgia Court of Appeals, while the Supreme Court of Georgia takes the jurisdiction assigned by law. Once appealed, the case grows a separate appellate record.

Read Randolph Docket Terms Carefully

Short docket labels describe events, not always final outcomes. A reset simply moves a setting; it does not dismiss a case. A filing entry proves only that the clerk entered an item, and the document itself may still require account rights, payment, or a copy request.

Docket
The ordered register of filings, settings, and rulings.
Setting
A scheduled hearing, conference, arraignment, or trial.
Continuance
A court-approved move to a later date.
Disposition
The recorded result of a case or charge.
Certified copy
A copy with the clerk's official certification.

When an entry touches attendance, service, payment, or a deadline, verify it with the clerk and read the signed order itself.

Court Dates and Settings in Randolph County

A case register, a circuit calendar, and a clerk confirmation each serve a different purpose. A case detail may show a hearing. The Pataula official calendar page links a public calendar with day, week, month, and year views. It adds text and date search plus print and export controls.

Randolph posts no complete daily docket PDF. So treat any calendar result as a lead rather than proof that every lower-court or municipal event appears there. For public observation of a video proceeding, Pataula asks that you contact the judge's office. Do so at least 24 hours beforehand. The Randolph County court schedule explains date fields and resets. Confirm every required appearance.

Randolph Docket Help at Front Street

When the portal fails, call on the clerk. The main Superior and Juvenile starting point is the clerk at 93 Front Street in Cuthbert. Kay Arnold-Goss is listed as the Randolph County Clerk of Superior Court. Her office publishes a street and mailing address. Phone, fax, weekday hours, and email also appear through official sources.

The GSCCCA clerk directory shows the office's current contact details and hours.

Docket Access Under Georgia Law

Public access does not mean every image is open. Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 governs access and sealing, and Rule 21.6 covers protected identifiers and redaction. Juvenile records carry separate confidentiality limits, and O.C.G.A. § 15-5-112 creates a process for eligible judicial officers' personal information.

Key rules:

Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 governs Superior Court access and sealing.

O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 and 50-18-71 supply Georgia's agency-record request framework.

O.C.G.A. § 15-5-112 addresses protected judicial personal information.

The Open Records Act cannot bypass a sealed-case order. Ask the clerk whether public docket text or a redacted copy exists, and which rule controls access.

Pataula Notices Change Randolph Dockets

Randolph is one of seven counties in the Pataula Judicial Circuit. Circuit notices matter because jury reporting, judges, emergencies, and some calendars operate across county lines. The Pataula homepage posts dated notices about all of it.

Randolph County court docket Pataula notices

The live notice channel can outrun a saved calendar entry. A January 2025 winter order closed Randolph Superior, Magistrate, Probate, and Juvenile courts for the stated emergency period. It also tolled applicable deadlines. Check current circuit notices whenever weather or another disruption affects access or timing.

Jury directions also change by date. Follow the current notice and your summons, not an old search result.

How the Clerk Keeps Docket Records

The Randolph Superior Clerk keeps the court docket files. The office does not give legal advice. Ask, and you can learn where a case sits. You can also learn which request channel it accepts, whether a file has been archived, and what copy types are available. Choosing a plea or mapping out strategy is a lawyer's job, not the clerk's. The Pataula clerks page confirms the Randolph listing and what the office handles.

Reach the clerk by counter, phone, fax, mail, or email, whichever fits. A written request should name the case, the document, the filing date, the copy type, your contact details, and your payment question.

Restricted Randolph Dockets Need Custodians

Not every Randolph County court record is open. Juvenile cases, sealed files, protected identifiers, and sensitive documents sit outside ordinary public view. Georgia's JDEX system flags juvenile records as confidential and limits access to authorized attorneys. A public user should not try to slip past those rules through some other portal.

When a docket search comes up empty, four causes are usually at play. The case may sit in the wrong court. The provider may have a gap. The file may be archived paper. Or a lawful restriction may apply. Call the keeper and ask which one fits. A docket row can be visible while its image stays hidden. The reverse also holds: no online row does not mean no case exists.

One restriction can cover a single document. The rest of the docket text stays public. Ask the clerk about a redacted version, an index-only response, or the court-order process. Account access never changes the confidentiality rule that governs the file.

Note: When the full Randolph County file is not open, ask for public docket text. Ask for a redacted copy.

Federal Dockets Leave Randolph County

Federal cases leave Randolph County entirely. They run on a different system. Randolph sits in the Middle District of Georgia's Columbus Division. Federal civil and criminal dockets live in PACER and CM/ECF. Bankruptcy filings belong to the federal Bankruptcy Court. The Randolph Superior Clerk keeps none of it. Check the Columbus Division page to confirm venue, and use PACER for the official search. CourtListener can help cross-check some entries, but it runs incomplete and cannot certify a filing. Keep the products straight. Docket text, a PDF, a sealed filing, and a certified copy are separate things.

City-by-City Court Dockets in Randolph County

Randolph County has two incorporated cities. Cuthbert and Shellman run their own municipal paths for traffic and ordinance cases. Their dockets stay separate from each other and from Superior Court. Population figures add context, not a filing-volume estimate.

Cuthbert Court Records

2020 population: 3,143

No verified current public city docket form; begin with the municipal court phone and clerk.

Shellman Court Records

2020 population: 861

The official city site links a JusticeONE ticket locate and payment route.

Cuthbert serves as the county seat and the physical starting point for several county courts. That status does not pull its municipal citations into county files. Shellman's payment provider, likewise, is no substitute for a certified docket copy.

Cuthbert Municipal Court lists a historical location at 24 Court Street and phone 229-732-3161. That listing came from a COVID-era reopening procedure. Treat its check-in and waiting instructions as outdated rather than current policy. The city posts no docket portal, public calendar, online payment form, fee schedule, or request form. Start with the citation itself. Confirm by phone. Then make an in-person or written request when the court record matters. Keep the citation number, name, date of birth, and printed appearance date close at hand.

Shellman offers a different route. Its official site links to a Shellman-specific JusticeONE path and advertises phone payment. The exact live fields, result limits, fees, and document access are not spelled out. Do not guess at them. Use the city-linked route to locate or pay a qualifying ticket. For a court date, a copy, or anything the payment service cannot answer, call Shellman at 229-679-5306. The general city office sits at 51 Park Avenue.

The state traffic locator can help with either city. It searches by name, issuing city or county, and date of birth. Georgia warns that posting can take 7 to 21 business days. That delay never changes the summons date. If a new citation fails to appear, check the city first. Retry the documented fields. Then call the municipal court before the appearance date. Paying a balance and requesting a certified docket are separate acts.

Randolph residents can also land in cases that never touch a municipal court. A felony follows the Superior route. So does a divorce, a broad civil action, or another Superior matter. Estates and guardianships go to Probate Court. A qualifying small civil claim or preliminary matter may begin in Magistrate Court. Residence does not decide custody. The court with jurisdiction and the actual filing determine where the docket lives.

Older records follow the same rule. Cuthbert became the county seat by 1831, and Shellman incorporated in 1883, but neither date proves a docket book has been scanned. Ask whether an older file is electronic, archived, or paper. Without a case number, give a name range, approximate year, case type, and court. Genealogy requests work best when they target a record series rather than every record tied to a surname.

The city split explains why broad searches fail. A search limited to the Randolph County court docket may miss a Shellman citation sitting in JusticeONE. It may miss a Cuthbert city file reachable only by phone. A Probate register may sit with its own clerk. Work from the paper in hand. A citation shows its issuing agency, and a notice names its court. A pleading carries a caption too. Those details route you better than the county name alone.

Map and Directions to the Randolph County Courthouse

Superior Court, Juvenile Court, and Probate Court records are all kept at the Randolph County Courthouse, 93 Front Street in Cuthbert. Clerk of Superior Court Kay Arnold-Goss's office is the primary counter for Superior and Juvenile registers, and Probate/Vital Records is at the same street address. No official source publishes the building's construction year, architect, floor plan, or a public-terminal count, so treat those as unconfirmed rather than assumed.
